To celebrate one of our most important colleagues we have setup the “Nils-Olof Lindberg Scholarship in Pharmacy”, with the ambition to encourage pharmaceutical students to follow their dreams. The purpose of the scholarship is to support knowledge acquisition/sharing in the field of galenic pharmacy in connection with travel, conferences, or specific research projects related to drug formulation.
Must have criteria: • Ongoing or completed Pharmaceutical education in Sweden
Preferred criteria: • Local connection to Skåne • Entrepreneurship • Connection to solid oral dosage forms • Galenic Pharmacy • Studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy in UppsalaTarget audience: The scholarship is aimed at students, doctoral candidates, and postdocs in the field of galenic pharmacy in Sweden.
Amount and duration of the scholarship: The amount is SEK 50,000 and will be awarded to one individual annually. Initially, the scholarship will be established for the years 2024-2033.
Application process: Applications will be open for submission between February 3rd and April 30th. Applicants should submit an application including personal information, academic background, a brief justification for why they should be awarded the scholarship, and how they plan to use it by submitting below. Attach your application under "other documents".
Selection and evaluation: A jury consisting of representatives from relevant academic and industrial backgrounds will evaluate the applications based on the specified criteria.
Communication with winners: The selected scholarship recipients will be notified personally and announced in May on Galenica's website and/or other relevant channels.
Follow-up and evaluation: After the scholarship has been awarded, the recipients will report on how they have used the scholarship and the impact it has had on their studies or research projects. A physical lecture is expected at Galenica's premises in Malmö.
